How far into Berkshire do we go?

The whole county. Berkshire starts a few miles from our base in Church Crookham, so most of it is a short drive away.

Sandhurst is about 10 miles from us, Wokingham 12, Bracknell 15 and Reading 18. Windsor is 22 miles, Slough and Maidenhead 25, and Thatcham and Newbury, in the west of the county, 28 and 30.

We look after single kitchens and groups with several sites, from a village pub to a school or a staff restaurant, with the same engineers, the same van stock and the same reports.

Breakdowns and CP42 checks across Berkshire

Who carries out food hygiene inspections in Berkshire?

Each of Berkshire’s six councils is responsible for its own area. Reading, Slough, Wokingham and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead have their own environmental health officers, while Bracknell Forest and West Berkshire share theirs through the Public Protection Partnership. Whoever inspects your kitchen may ask to see that your gas appliances are maintained, which a current CP42 certificate shows.
