A recent call out: a combi oven in a care home

A local care home called us when its Bonnet combination oven stopped working. Our engineer opened the control panel and tested the electrical supply at the oven’s terminals, and found the cause: one phase of the electrical supply was down.

What should I do when catering equipment breaks down?

Make the appliance safe, then call us on 01252 214067 with the make, the model and what it is doing. If it is a gas appliance and you can smell gas, turn off the gas supply and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 first.

Yes. We hold a substantial van stock, so we can often fix the fault on the first visit. If a part is not on the van, we source it through our key parts suppliers.
